Jennifer

Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Jennifer completed her master's in mental health counseling at Western Carolina University and is awaiting registration by the state of Florida to continue her counseling practice.  Additionally, she is a Board Certified Neurofeedback practitioner through the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance. She was inspired to specialize in this brain-training modality through her extensive experience providing neurofeedback to people ranging in age from small children to older adults. Neurofeedback therapy is another tool in the therapeutic toolbox that trains the brain.  This encourages new thought patterns and ways of processing information to be created, resulting in successful symptom relief.  Participating in neurofeedback therapy requires an experienced practitioner to guide your journey. Jennifer is excited to be joining the staff at Seasons Counseling as this guide throughout the process.

Jennifer's passion for helping others navigate life is the result of her own experience and personal transformation with a therapist.  Her own journey through change to wholeness sparked a desire to be of greater service to others. Jennifer believes deeply in the importance of connection with self and others. When such relationships experience wounding, healing is available through time tested theories and modalities, enabling difficulties to lessen and inner strength to increase.  Jennifer feels strongly that a therapeutic collaboration, in which clients are heard, respected, and valued, is vital for navigating life's challenges.
