Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Kevin Lee, MBA, MA, LMHC practices Narrative Therapy with clients looking to change their lives using a proactive, meaningful and introspective approach.  Narrative therapy is rooted in examining life influences and dynamics, and understanding how our earlier life experiences came together to form internal stories about ourselves and the world we live in.  Anxiety, depression, relationship issues, behavioral issues, substance abuse, and professional issues often surface when older self-dialogues no longer serve the individual.  Narrative Therapy reveals the dysfunction of these internal notions and helps the Client to re-author a new perspective.

Kevin has lived in Florida for over 20 years and originally hails from upstate New York.  Kevin spent over two decades working in Human Resources with several major organizations, helping companies and employees excel in organizational development and professional practices.  He is Board Certified in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, focused on working with individuals 16 and older as well as couples.  He has significant experience working with Clients with substance use disorders, alcohol and drug abuse and dependence.  Kevin worked several years with a nationally recognized treatment center and several acclaimed addiction practitioners; treating clients from their first days in sobriety through relapse prevention, achieving a lifelong independence from addiction.  Kevin has also treated Clients with Attachment disturbances, often translating to relationship and self-concept issues later in life.  Kevin’s genuine belief in people, the idea that every individual holds the solution to improve his or her life, serves as the foundation of his practice.
