Mental Health Graduate Intern

Sara graduated from Rollins with a degree in psychology and is completing her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Sara is a co-author of the Facebook site @TearstoTriumphs dedicated to empowering individuals. Sara specializes in integrating spirituality and counseling through mindfulness and Christian principles. Sara uses a Solution Focused Brief Therapy approach to counseling that works collectively with the client to achieve their therapeutic goals. Certified in SYMBIS (save your marriage before it starts), she works with couples to mitigate potential issues and create healthy channels of communication.

With a professional background in finance and banking, Sara is trained to work with individuals in career counseling as well. On her spare time, Sara enjoys watching epic movies with her dog Ricky (such as Star Wars, Marvel, and DC) and is inspired by the moral lessons these characters can illustrate on the human experiences.
