Jace

Mental Health Graduate Intern

Jace is a graduate intern and passionate advocate for mental health awareness. His therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). He views every client not as someone to “fix,” but as a unique individual with a story worth hearing. To Jace, counseling is about listening, reflecting, understanding, and creating space for healing.

Authentic and genuine in his approach, Jace prioritizes making his clients feel safe, validated, and cared for in every session. He strives to create an environment where vulnerability feels not only possible but welcomed.

Having personally experienced severe anxiety and depression during his high school years, Jace brings deep empathy, compassion, and insight to his work. His past struggles have shaped his mission in life: to comfort and help heal others. He firmly believes that no matter how dark life may seem, there is always light and that hope remains, even when it feels distant. Jace’s emotional intelligence and compassion continue to fuel his journey toward becoming a licensed clinical mental health counselor.

A little about Jace:

Originally from Louisiana, Jace moved to Florida to participate in the Disney College Program after earning his bachelor’s degree. He loves to act and sing—performance has always been a meaningful part of his life. A fan of poetry, he often attends open mic nights and enjoys sharing his original work.

Jace is also a theme park enthusiast, with Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind being his favorite ride. He treasures time with his friends and family and finds joy in meaningful connection. Beyond his clinical work, Jace is a motivational speaker who visits schools to talk to students about self-care and mental health awareness.
