Brad
Mental Health Graduate Intern
Brad is a graduate intern dedicated to fostering genuine connections and supporting clients through life's challenges with empathy and authenticity. Drawing from his background in finance, military service, and construction, Brad has learned that everyone carries a unique story deserving of being heard and understood. He believes that true healing begins with building trust and prioritizing interpersonal relationships, viewing therapy as a collaborative "team sport" that, while sometimes daunting to start, can lead to profound growth and hope for the future.
Rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brad's approach emphasizes seeking to understand clients first, helping them explore how past experiences shape their present while empowering them to engage fully in the here and now and find motivation for what's ahead. He creates a safe, approachable space where vulnerability is welcomed, partnering with clients to develop practical strategies for change—always honoring the whole person, including their physical, emotional, relational, and cognitive well-being.
A little about Brad: Originally earning a bachelor's degree in finance, Brad served in the military, where he honed his appreciation for teamwork and the power of shared stories. He enjoys spending time outdoors running, bow hunting, or coaching archery at his local club, and loves diving into books on a wide range of topics.
