Bella Barajas, M.A., Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
In her own words ...
I was born in the windy city of Chicago, IL and raised in central Florida. Throughout my life, I’ve always known I’d end up in the helping profession. Early on, I recognized I was someone who naturally felt deep empathy for other people’s pain, as well as their joy. Others describe me as a warm and compassionate person who is easy to connect with. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Central Florida.
I have professional experience counseling in multiple settings which include general outpatient facilities, residential facilities, and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Alongside my work at Seasons Counseling, I am also a therapist at a facility that provides treatment to those who struggle with eating disorders. I have a passion for working with anyone who is ready to make positive and healthy changes in their life; whether it be finding freedom from trauma, depression, body image issues, OCD, or other psychological disorders.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time outdoors and am usually accompanied by my dog, Luna. I am a lover of nature and really enjoy kayaking, beaches, and exploring our Florida springs. I believe humor and laughter are life’s best medicines, so I enjoy fun times with my friends, family and loved ones.
